See what each staff member sold, and a Plan & billing page per store
Staff sales by item, a Plan & billing page for each store, password reset by code, stock that sells only what you have, customer cards and many fixes.
Shipped to App · Web · Cloud
This release collects everything that reached your store between Fuze Store 1.0 and app version 1.0.1. The Staff Performance report now shows what each person sold, item by item. Each store has its own Plan & billing page. The register sells only the stock you have and gives it back on a void or edit.
There are also new tools for the counter: record a tip or change on an e-wallet, QR, bank or card payment, and give regular customers an NFC card they can tap at the register. Deleted stores now keep their sales records for five years. Many fixes to orders, tables, money and loyalty are included.
New
See what each staff member sold
On the Staff Performance report, tap a person, or pick one in Filters, to see the items they were credited for in the period, grouped by order. A note shows when an item was credited through the staff assigned to the order, or shared with a colleague. The items add up to the person's total on the report, and tapping an order opens it.
Invite staff in three steps
Adding a staff member is now a short three-step wizard, where you also set the person's pay and commission.
Each store has its own Plan & billing page
Open a store's Plan & billing page to see its plan, what the plan includes, and the invoices the store is part of. It opens from My Store, from the store's row on Account → Subscription, and from Configurations inside the store. The account website has the same page under Stores.
Reset your password with a code
Forgot Password now emails you a 6-digit code to type in, on the app and on the website, instead of a link. If you use two-step sign-in, you are still asked for it when you reset.
Tip, change or overpaid on non-cash payments
When a customer pays more than the total by e-wallet, QR, bank or card, choose whether the extra is a tip, change you hand back, or an overpayment to refund later. The Payment Received screen, the receipt and the order show which one it was.
Customer cards
With NFC Tools, you can give a customer their own NFC card. One tap on the register attaches the customer to the order. Customer cards and staff badges are written from the same dialog, and cancelling the write removes a card that was never written.
NFC Tools on the free trial
Stores on the free trial now get NFC Tools: read, write and erase NFC tags and badges from Configurations → NFC.
Store records are kept for five years
Before a deleted store is erased, its sales records are saved in one spreadsheet that you can download for five years from Account → Store records, on the app and the website. The owner also gets a copy by email.
More settings for event services
An event service can now set how far ahead it can be booked, until when a booking can be cancelled, and what happens on a no-show.
Flat staff amounts at the register
A staff member's share on a line can now be a flat amount per unit or per line, as well as a percentage.
Filter products by category
The Products & Services list has a category filter. The Categories list and the Parent category picker now show every category, not only the first page.
Improved
The register sells only the stock you have
For items that track stock, the register no longer sells more than is available. Voiding a line, or editing an order, puts the stock back.
New stores start on Basic after your free trial
Your first store starts the free trial. Every store you create after that starts on the free Basic plan, and nothing is picked or paid while creating a store. Upgrade any store later from its Plan & billing page.
No more store limits
Plans no longer limit how many stores you can own. The "Store limit reached" messages on store transfers and Claim Store are gone.
The Inventory add-on is now Advanced Inventory
The Inventory add-on has a new name: Advanced Inventory. It is the same add-on, with stock locations, transfers, purchase orders, suppliers and stock counts. In the app menu it now reads Advanced Inventory.
Stock tracking has its own name
On a product, the Inventory tab is now the Stock tab, and "Enable Inventory" is now Track stock. Stock tracking stays free on every plan and needs no add-on.
Updates no longer slow down opening the app
Small fixes used to be installed while the app was opening, which made the first open after a fix slow and could restart the app while you were working. They now download in the background and take effect the next time you open the app, or after the app has been left in the background for a while with no order in progress. When a fix is required before the app can carry on, the app shows "Installing an update…" and reopens by itself.
Lists show how many items you selected
When you tick items on the Products, Categories, Modifiers, Discounts, Event Services, Serving Schedules or Pay Profiles list, the list now shows how many are selected. The checkbox beside Action selects the page on screen and keeps the ticks you made on other pages. When a whole page is selected and more items match, "Select all" extends the selection to every one of them. Enable, Disable and Delete state the number before you confirm.
Clearer business registration choices
When you set up a store, the registration choices now read Not registered, Registered and Tax registered.
Store Preferences in plainer words
Store Preferences use plainer wording, with hints that change as you edit each setting.
Approving expenses
Anyone allowed to approve expenses can now approve one, including the person who recorded it.
Receipts show points and gift cards
Receipts list the loyalty points and each gift card that paid for the order. VATable Sales is no longer thrown off by a gift card, points, a charge or a delivery fee.
Fixed
Cancelling an order, voiding every line, or closing it now frees its table.
A partial void keeps the modifiers on the line that remains.
Voided or cancelled orders with nothing paid now read Unpaid.
Scanning matches the barcode first, then the SKU; scanning a table code seats the order at that table; opening an order from the POS orders panel no longer replaces the cart.
Make Order and View Order on a POS unit open again, and a saved line with modifiers can be updated.
Product tiles on the register no longer collapse in Safari on iPhone and iPad.
Transaction numbers carry your store's date.
An order paid by gift card can be refunded, with the card's share going back on the card.
Fixed taxes are charged per unit, and a sale price applies only inside its dates.
Editing an open order releases reserved stock instead of reserving more.
A transfer, purchase order or stock count can no longer be applied twice by a double tap or a retry.
A refund followed by a cancel no longer takes the staff commission back twice.
A store on its free trial can add more than five staff.
Loyalty points no longer lose a point to rounding, and expiring points no longer clash with points being earned at the same moment.
A switched-off add-on keeps working until the end of its paid period, and turning it back on before then is free.
Report line charts no longer overshoot their data.
On Android, an NFC write no longer fails while it is checked, half-written badges can be erased, and leaving an NFC screen stops the waiting tap.
On some Android phones, the app no longer closes when you search with the keyboard.
Security
Order emails and texts for pick-up and delivery orders now always go to that order's own customer. Before this fix, some could reach another customer's contact.
A new store can no longer take a store link that another store used before, so your printed QR codes and NFC tags keep opening your own store.
The website and app use updated libraries with known security issues fixed.
