Setting Up a Loyalty Program
You can set up a loyalty program in just a few minutes. This guide walks you through enabling the feature, defining tiers, setting point rules, and configuring benefits.
Before You Start
Make sure you have the Loyalty Program add-on enabled on your subscription. You also need Owner or Admin access to your store.
Step 1: Enable the Loyalty Program
- Open the sidebar menu and go to Store Settings.
- Select Loyalty Program from the settings list.
- Toggle the Enable Loyalty Program switch to on.
- Press Save to confirm.
Your store now supports loyalty points. Next, you need to define your tiers and rules.
Step 2: Set Point Earning Rules
Point earning rules determine how customers collect points. You define how many points a customer earns per amount spent.
- In the Loyalty Program settings, find the Point Rules section.
- Set the earning rate. For example, 1 point for every 100 pesos spent.
- Choose whether points apply to all products or specific categories.
- Press Save.

Step 3: Define Your Tiers
Tiers give structure to your loyalty program. Each tier has a name, a point threshold, and a set of benefits.
- Go to the Tiers section in Loyalty Program settings.
- Press Add Tier.
- Enter the tier Name (for example, "Bronze").
- Set the Point Threshold (the minimum points needed to reach this tier).
- Press Save.
Repeat this process for each tier you want to create. Start with the lowest tier and work up.
Step 4: Configure Benefits Per Tier
Each tier can offer different benefits. You assign benefits when you create or edit a tier.
Common benefit types include:
- Percentage discount on all orders
- Free delivery for qualifying orders
- Bonus points on certain products
- Exclusive access to special promotions
- Open a tier from the tiers list.
- In the Benefits section, add the benefits you want.
- Set the value for each benefit (for example, 5% discount).
- Press Save.
Step 5: Review and Activate
After you finish setting up tiers and rules, review your configuration:
- Check that tiers are in the correct order by point threshold.
- Confirm that benefits match what you want to offer.
- Make sure the earning rate is reasonable for your price range.
Your loyalty program is now live. Customers start earning points on their next purchase.
Tips
- Start simple. Two or three tiers work well for most businesses.
- Communicate clearly. Let customers know about the program at the register.
- Review regularly. Adjust point rules and benefits based on customer activity.
