Stock transfers let you move inventory from one location to another. This is useful when one location is running low and another has surplus stock.

When to Use Stock Transfers

  • One location is low on a product while another has extra.
  • You are opening a new location and need to distribute inventory.
  • You want to balance stock levels across all your stores.

How to Create a Transfer Request

Follow these steps to transfer stock between locations.

  1. Go to Inventory or Stock Transfers from the sidebar menu.
  2. Tap New Transfer.
  3. Select the source location (where stock is coming from).
  4. Select the destination location (where stock is going).
  5. Add the products and quantities you want to transfer.
  6. Review the details and submit the transfer request.

Approving a Transfer

Transfers may require approval before they take effect.

  1. Open the pending transfer from the transfer list.
  2. Review the products, quantities, and locations.
  3. Tap Approve to confirm the transfer.
  4. Stock levels update automatically at both locations.

If a transfer looks incorrect, you can reject it with a note.

Tracking Transfer History

You can view all past transfers from the transfer history screen. Each record shows:

DestinationThe location that received the stock.
