Staff Commissions Page

Add-on required. This feature requires the Staff Operations add-on to be active on your store. View add-ons

Every staff member's page has a Commissions tab: the figures for a period, the actions, and the most recent entries. The full list of entries is one tap away, under View all. Recorded payouts have their own Payouts page. A manager opens the tab on a staff member's page; the staff member opens the same tab for themselves in My Profile.

Staff → Commissions

Opening it

  • As a manager: open a staff member's page and tap the Commissions tab. Commissions in the More menu and the Commissions row on Overview open the same tab.
  • As yourself: open My Profile and tap the Commissions tab — no extra permission needed, since it's your own numbers.

Old links to the Commissions page still work: they open this tab.

Finding your way around

  • Period picker — at the top of the tab. It applies to everything on the tab, Recent activity included, with This pay period and Last pay period available alongside the usual ranges (Today, This week, …). Those two follow the Pay period your store set in Preferences — weekly, twice a month (1st–15th and 16th–end of month), or monthly. Use the ‹ › arrows to step to the previous or next period. Weeks run Monday to Sunday.
  • Figures and actions — the tiles for the period, then Cash advance and Record payout for managers who may record payouts.
  • Recent activity — the five newest entries of the period. View all opens the full Activity list on the same period.
  • Guide — the book icon at the top right of the Activity list opens this page.

The Commissions tab

Six tiles for the period: Earned, Reversed, Cash advance, Unpaid, Paid and Advance balance — plus a short list of top services and the most recent payout, if there is one. This is the place to check first for "how is this staff member doing this period."

Activity

Recent activity on the tab shows the five newest entries. When the period holds more, View all shows how many and opens the full Activity list.

The Activity list is the raw commission ledger — every entry for the period (sales, refunds, voids, and cash advances), each showing whether it's unpaid, paid, reversed, or an advance, and the rate it was calculated at. An entry an organization pay run settled reads Organization pay run instead of paid. Tapping Commission on a payout jumps here with a filter chip showing only that payout's entries; tap the chip to clear it. The number on View all counts entries, not orders: an order where this staff member worked two items shows as two entries. A cash advance is deleted from this list, not from Recent activity.

Payouts

Payouts cover base pay, additions, and deductions as well as commission, so they have their own page. Open it from the staff member's page (Payouts), or from View all payouts on the Commissions tab's last-payout card. It lists every payout recorded for this staff member, newest first, each showing the net total and whether it cleared minimum wage. For one of your organization's people it says Paid by the organization instead: the organization's pay runs pay them, and payouts recorded before they joined stay listed. Tap a payout to open it. It reads like a payslip: who was paid, the period and Net to pay at the top, then Earnings and deductions (base pay, commission, additions, deductions and cash advances recovered), a cash advances card when the payout recovered any or a balance was left, and Payment (the day it was paid, who recorded it and the note). On a wide screen the cards sit in two columns. Statement (PDF) and Delete are at the top of the page. Tap Commission to jump to the Activity list filtered to that payout's entries.

Managers see more than staff see

A manager viewing someone else's page can record a payout, record a cash
advance, and delete a payout from the top of its page — each one follows the
Payouts permissions on their role (Manage to record, Delete to delete),
and the Payouts page itself needs Payouts View. Viewing your own page —
through My Profile — never shows rates or these actions, only your own totals
and history.
