The menu
The slide-out menu is how you get to every screen in the app. It has two lists: Your menu, with the screens you use every day, and More tools, with everything else you may open. At the bottom is you. The menu only decides where a screen sits, never whether you can open it.
Before you start
- Nothing. Every role has a menu. What you see in it depends on your store type, your role and your plan, add-ons and permissions.

Open the menu
Open the menu from Home. At the top is the store row, with the logo or initials and the store name. If you work at more than one store, it also lets you switch store. While the essentials are not done, Get set up sits below it.

Use Your menu
Your menu holds up to eight screens suggested for your store type and your role, with Home always first. An owner or manager at a cafe or restaurant starts with Home, Sell, Orders, Products, Modifiers, Customers, Reports and Settings. A cashier starts with Home, Sell, Orders and Customers. Kitchen staff start with Home, Kitchen display and Orders. Other roles, such as a bookkeeper or a stock clerk, get the screens their job needs. Tap a row to open it.

Open More tools
Tap the More tools row. It says how many more screens you can use. It opens as a second panel inside the same menu, with a back arrow. Screens are in three groups: Set up your store, Records, and Usually for other kinds of stores. Screens already in Your menu stay listed with In your menu.

Customize your menu
Each row in More tools has a pin button. Pin a screen you use every day and it joins Your menu. Unpin it and it goes back to More tools. Reset to suggested drops every pin and returns to the suggestion. Home cannot be moved.

Open your profile, Account or Switch staff
At the bottom, your photo or initials, your name and your role open My Profile. A button beside it opens Account. With the Staff Operations add-on, a Switch staff button lets the next person sign in by PIN.

What happens next
- A pin is saved right away. The next time you open the menu, the screen is in its new place.
- Closing the menu returns it to Your menu, even if you were in More tools.
Edge cases
- Nothing is ever hidden. A screen you may open is always in Your menu or in More tools. A screen your plan, add-ons or permissions do not allow is in neither.
- Headings appear only past eight. Up to eight items, Your menu is one plain list. When pins take it past eight, each screen sits under its usual group: Sales & Orders, Catalog & Inventory, People, Finance, Store Management, and Reports & Data. Empty groups are left out.
- You can pin more than eight. Eight is the size of the suggestion, not a limit on you.
- Pins are yours, for this store. They are saved per person and per store on this device. On a shared terminal, each staff member who signs in with a PIN keeps their own menu. Another device starts from the suggestion.
- The menu does not reorder itself. It never moves a screen because you use it more. Moving a screen is always your own pin.
- Add-ons switched off for this device. Sessions, Terminal, Expenses, Gift cards, Inventory and Loyalty members that were switched off for this device on the store's Add-ons page start in More tools. Pinning brings them back.
- No store selected. Your menu shows Stores, and Organizations with the Organization add-on, so you can pick or open a store. There is no More tools row until a store is selected.
- Settings. It is suggested only to someone who can change it. For anyone else it waits in More tools.
- The person row always shows, whatever the role. Switch staff depends only on the Staff Operations add-on, so an operator whose role opens nothing else can still hand the device over.

Troubleshooting
- I cannot find a screen. Open More tools. If it is not there, your plan, add-ons or permissions do not include it. Ask an owner.
- My pins are gone. Pins are saved per person, per store and per device. Check you are signed in as the same person, at the same store, on the same device.
- The menu looks different from a coworker's. Your role and your pins decide it. Use Reset to suggested to go back to the suggestion.
