🗑️ How to Delete a Modifier

If you no longer need a modifier—maybe you’ve updated your menu or want to keep things simple—you can easily remove it from your POS system. Deleting a modifier is quick, safe, and doesn’t require any technical skills.

📍 Step-by-Step Guide

There are two simple ways to delete a modifier:

Option 1: Delete from the Modifier List
  1. Open the Menu: Click the ☰ sidebar hamburger menu to open navigation.
  2. Go to Modifiers: Select Modifiers from the menu list.
  3. Choose a Modifier: In modifier list, locate the modifier you want to delete (for example, Extra Cheese).
  4. Delete: Click the Delete button (trash bin icon) in the action column.
  5. Confirm: A message will pop up asking if you’re sure. Click Yes or Confirm to finish.

Option 2: Delete from the Modifier Details
  1. Open the Menu: Click the ☰ sidebar hamburger menu to open navigation.
  2. Go to Modifiers: Select Modifiers from the menu list.
  3. Choose a Modifier: In modifier list, click the modifier you want to delete (for example, Extra Cheese).
  4. Delete: Click the Delete button (trash bin icon) on the modifier details page.
  5. Confirm: A message will pop up asking if you’re sure. Click Yes or Confirm to finish.

⚠️ What Happens When You Delete a Modifier?
  • The modifier will be removed from your POS and menus right away.
  • Any products or services using this modifier will lose the option, but will not be deleted.
  • You can always add a new modifier later if you change your mind.

💡 Tips
  • Double-check before deleting—a deleted modifier cannot be restored.
  • If you just want to hide a modifier, consider making it inactive instead of deleting.
  • Keep your modifier list organized by removing options you no longer use.
  • Review related products or services to make sure nothing is left broken.
