Several Cars, Bags or Guests on One Order

Paid plan required. Service Details is available on any paid plan (Starter and up). It is not included on the free Basic plan. View plans

A customer drives in with two cars, or drops off three bags of laundry. You can keep both on one order. Each car gets its own plate number and its own services, and the customer pays once.

Fuze Store calls each car, bag, device, pet, guest or patient on an order an asset. In the app you see the name your store picked, such as Car 1 and Car 2.

Turn it on

Service Details must be on first. See Setting Up Your Fields if you have not set it up yet.

1

Open the sidebar menu, go to Configurations, then open Preferences.

2

Select the Service Context tab.

3

Under your fields, turn on More than one per order.

4

Under What to call each one, pick a name: Car, Bag, Device, Pet, Guest, Patient or Item.

5

Tap Save.

Templates turn it on for you

Stores created from the car wash, laundry, repair, pet, spa, salon and clinic templates start with this switch on. See Which templates turn it on.

Add a second car

The steps below use a car wash. A laundry, salon or clinic works the same way with its own name.

1

Add the first service to the cart as usual.

2

Tap the Service details section in the order summary. The sheet shows a Car 1 card.

3

Fill in Car 1's details, such as its plate number.

4

Tap Add car. A Car 2 card appears with the same fields, empty.

5

Fill in Car 2's details and tap Save.

Service details → Add car

To remove a car, tap the remove button on its card. If the car still has items on it, the app asks first: when you save, those items move to Whole order, with their price, discounts and assigned staff unchanged. Open an item to put it on another car instead.

Put each service on the right car

Once the order has two cars, the cart groups its items under each car. Items that belong to no car, such as a bottled drink, sit under Whole order at the end.

  • Tap a car's header to make it the one new items go to. That header shows Adding here.
  • Tap a service in the catalog and it lands on the car marked Adding here. Tapping the same service again adds to that car's line. It never merges with the same service on the other car.
  • Move an item by opening it in the cart. The Which car? chips let you pick another car, or Whole order.
  • Custom items have the same Which car? chips.

Line details → Which car?

Each line keeps its own staff. If Juan washed Car 1 and Maria waxed Car 2, each earns commission on their own line, the same as before.

Pay once

The order has one total, one payment and one receipt. Charge it as you would any order. After payment, the Order Completed panel lists the items under each car, as the cart does. See Using the POS Register.

You can also edit the order later from Edit. Add a car, move items between cars, or remove a car; the items of a removed car move to the whole order.

What the queue ticket and daily sheet show

  • Order details show one block per car with its details and its items. Items on the whole order come last.
  • Queue ticket prints a SERVICE DETAILS block with CAR 1 and CAR 2 parts. Below it, the ITEMS list is grouped by car, with whole-order items last.
  • Receipt does not change. It prints no service details today.
  • Kitchen ticket lists the items without grouping them by car.
  • Daily sheet joins every car's value in one column, such as ABC 1234, XYZ 5678. A Serviced tile counts the cars for the day, such as Serviced · 2 cars.

See Daily Sheet Report for the rest of the sheet.
