π Events: Appointments & Reservations Overview
Fuze Store POS makes managing all your bookings simple and stress-free! In Fuze, every Event is either an Appointment or a Reservation. Understanding the difference helps you run your business smoothly and give customers a great experience.
β¨ What Are Events?
- Events are any scheduled bookings in your business. There are two types:
- Appointments
- Reservations
Appointments
- Appointments are bookings that must have at least one service or product attached. For example, a haircut, massage, or personal training session. You canβt create an appointment without choosing a service or product.
Note: When you create an appointment, Fuze Store POS will automatically create an order for you, since every appointment includes a service or product. This makes checkout and payment easy for both you and your customer.
Reservations
- Reservations are bookings for spaces like tables, rooms, or areas (for example, in a restaurant or hotel). Services or products are optionalβyou can reserve a space by itself, or add items if needed (like a dinner reservation with or without pre-ordering food).
Key Difference:
- Appointments = Service or product required
- Reservations = Service or product optional
