Setting Up CFD
Add-on required. This feature requires the Customer Facing Display add-on to be active on your store. View add-ons
Follow these steps to get your Customer Facing Display running.
Activate the Add-on

Go to Account and open Add-ons.

Find Customer Facing Display in the add-on catalog.

Press Activate and confirm. The add-on is billed per store per month.

Go to your store's Add-ons section and enable CFD for the store.
Open the Display

On your second device (tablet or monitor), open the Fuze Store app or web browser.

Navigate to the Displays section from your store settings.

Select Customer Facing Display to launch the display screen.

The display connects automatically over your local network or the internet.
A connection badge in the corner shows whether the display is connected via LAN (local) or Cloud (internet).
Configure Preferences
You can customize how the display behaves from your store's Display Settings:
Idle Mode
Choose what the display shows when no transaction is active:

|---|---|
| Auto | Automatically rotates between your store logo and the queue display |
| Queue | Always shows the customer queue with "Now Serving" and waiting positions |
| Logo | Always shows your store logo |
Queue Settings
- Enable queue display — Show or hide the queue on the idle screen.
- Mask identifiers — Hide customer names and details for privacy.
- Show estimated wait — Display estimated wait times next to queue entries.
- Max visible entries — Limit how many queue entries appear on screen.
Privacy
- Mask customer name — Replace customer names with initials on the cart view during checkout.
Post-Transaction
- Display duration — How long the order summary stays on screen before returning to idle.
Troubleshooting
Display not connecting
- Make sure both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network for LAN sync.
- Check that the CFD add-on is active on your store.
- Refresh the display page on the second device.
- If LAN is unavailable, the display will fall back to cloud sync automatically.
Cart not updating
- Verify the connection badge shows a green status.
- Make sure you are using the POS register on the same store.
- Try refreshing the display screen.
