Organization AI Connection

A store connection reads one store. An organization connection reads the branches of your organization through a single link. Connect Claude, ChatGPT or another AI tool once, then ask "which branch sold the most this week?" or "show Makati's voids yesterday" in the same chat.

It offers everything a store connection does, including the four imports, for each branch you give it. Cross-branch questions (compare branch sales, the stock report, transfers between branches) are answered in one call.

Before you start

  • You are the organization owner or an admin. Other members cannot connect or use it.
  • The owner has the Organization add-on.
  • At least one branch is AI-ready (below).

Which branches are AI-ready

A branch is AI-ready when all three are true:

  1. It is on a paid plan. A free trial or the Basic plan does not count, even though a trial includes AI Connections for free.
  2. It has the AI Connections add-on. Each branch pays for its own. The organization does not buy one for all of them.
  3. It is not frozen. A store frozen for non-payment is left out of everything the assistant reads.

The AI connection screen shows how many branches are AI-ready and names the others with the reason: Frozen, Trial or Basic, or No AI MCP add-on. A shortcut next to a branch without the add-on turns it on.

Steps

1

Open AI connection in your organization

In the Fuze Store app open Organizations from the side menu, choose your organization and open AI connection. You see how many branches are AI-ready and every assistant already connected.

2

Tap Connect an assistant

The screen shows the organization link to copy, and the steps for the common AI tools. The link is your API address followed by /mcp/org/ and your organization's id: https://api.fuze-store.com/mcp/org/<organization id>. Add it in your AI tool as you would a store link. See Connecting Claude or the guide for your tool.

3

Sign in and choose the branches

The approval page names your organization. Under branches choose either:

  • All AI-ready branches. Branches that become AI-ready later join on their own.
  • Only these branches. Tick the ones you want. Branches that are not AI-ready are shown but cannot be ticked.

Then tick the permissions you want to grant, as for a store connection (see Understanding Permissions), and tap Approve. You must pick at least one branch.

4

Ask about any branch or the whole group

The assistant first lists the branches it can read, then asks about one branch by name or about the group. Anything that changes data, such as an expense import, is a preview first and saved only after you approve it in the chat.

Changing the branches later

Open AI connection in the organization, find the assistant and tap Edit branches. Pick the branches and save. It applies from the assistant's next question, with no new approval. An owner or admin sees and can edit every organization connection, not only their own.

  • A branch that stops being AI-ready (frozen, plan lapsed, add-on removed) stays in the choice, is flagged on the connection, and is skipped. It comes back on its own once it is AI-ready again.
  • When you save, branches already in the choice may be not ready, so saving never drops them. A branch you add now must be AI-ready, otherwise the save is refused and says why.
  • Unlinking a branch from the organization removes it from every connection at once.

What the assistant says when a branch is missing

The assistant repeats these to you, so you can tell what to fix:

It saysWhat it meansWhat to do
Name a branch. Call list-branches to see them.A question about one branch did not say which.Name the branch.
This connection doesn't include that branch. The branch is not one you chose, or is not in this organization.Add it under Edit branches.
Branch is frozen / is on a trial or Basic plan / doesn't have the AI MCP add-on.The branch is chosen but not AI-ready right now.Unfreeze it, move it to a paid plan, or turn on AI Connections for it.

Cross-branch answers say which branches were left out and why, so a total is never quietly partial.

Disconnecting

On the AI connection screen tap the bin on an assistant and confirm. Its access and renewal keys on the organization are cancelled together and its branch choice is deleted, so it is signed out at once and has to be approved again. Each branch's own AI Assistants screen also notes which organization assistants can read it.

You want toUse
Ask about one store, day to dayThat store's own link (Setting Up AI Access)
Ask about several branches, or compare themThe organization link (this page)
Create stores or hand one overThe account link

You can keep a store link and the organization link side by side.

Edge cases

  • Only the owner and admins. A member or billing role is refused at sign-in and on every request, so removing an admin cuts their assistant off at once.
  • The Organization add-on lapsing pauses the link for everyone until it is active again.
  • Your role is checked on every question. Owners and organization admins always pass, so the choice of branches and the permissions you ticked are what limit the assistant.
  • Imports name their branch. An import preview belongs to one branch and cannot be saved to another.
  • Disconnect all is not available. Disconnect each assistant.
