How Account Subscription Works

Fuze Store POS uses a subscription system to give you access to features based on your plan. Here is how subscriptions work and how to manage them.

What is a Subscription?

A subscription unlocks the features of Fuze Store POS. You pay a set amount each month or year, and in return you get access to the tools your business needs.

How Subscriptions Work

  • Choose a Plan -- Pick the plan that fits your business (for example, Free, Pro, or Enterprise). Each plan has its own features and limits.
  • Start Your Subscription -- Enter your payment details and activate your plan. You will be billed automatically each month or year.
  • Use All Features -- Access everything included in your plan, such as sales, inventory, staff management, and more.
  • Upgrade or Downgrade -- Change your plan at any time to get more features or reduce costs.
  • Cancel Anytime -- You can cancel your subscription. You keep access until the end of your current billing period.

Depending on your plan, you may get:

  • Unlimited sales and orders
  • Multiple stores or locations
  • Staff accounts and permissions
  • Advanced reports and analytics
  • Integrations with payment processors

How POS Pricing and Order Calculation Works

Fuze Store POS handles all pricing situations while keeping things clear. Here is a summary of how the system calculates prices.

How Each Item is Priced

  • Base Price or Special Price -- Each item starts with a base price. If a special price is active and within valid dates, the system uses it.
  • Modifiers -- Extras or options (like toppings or sizes) add their own price.
  • Item Discounts -- You can apply percentage or fixed-amount discounts to individual items.
  • Tax -- Items can have tax included in the price. If your POS is set to exclude tax, the system adjusts the price accordingly.

How the Order Total is Calculated

  • Order Discounts -- The whole order can have custom discounts, multiple discounts, or gift card discounts (percentage or fixed amounts).
  • Service and Delivery Fees -- You can add service or delivery fees as a set amount or percentage.
  • Final Calculation -- The POS adds all items (with modifiers, discounts, and tax), subtracts order-level discounts and gift cards, then adds any fees.

Formulas

  • Per Item (Tax Inclusive):
    ((Base Price or Special Price) + Modifiers - Discounts) x Quantity
  • Per Item (Tax Exclusive):
    (((Base Price or Special Price) + Modifiers - Discounts) x Quantity) / (1 + Tax Rate)
  • Order Summary:
    Subtotal of all Items - Order Discounts - Custom Discounts + Service Fee - Gift Card Discount + Delivery Fee

Managing Your Subscription

  • View Your Plan -- See your current plan, renewal date, and payment method in account settings.
  • Update Payment Info -- Change your card or payment method at any time.
  • Download Invoices -- Get copies of past payments for your records.
  • Contact Support -- Reach out if you have questions or need help.
