How to Transfer Store Ownership

You can transfer ownership of your store to another staff member. This is useful when selling your business, changing management, or assigning a new person to take full control.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Open the sidebar menu by clicking the hamburger icon.
  2. Select Store Settings from the menu.
  3. Click Transfer Ownership.
  4. Find and select the staff member you want to transfer ownership to.
  5. Review the transfer details.
  6. Click Send Transfer Request. The selected staff member receives a notification.
  7. Once they accept, they become the new owner with full control of the store. You become a regular staff member (unless you remove yourself).

Why Transfer Ownership?

  • You are selling your business or passing it to a new manager.
  • You need to change who is responsible for store management.
  • You want the right person to have full control over settings, billing, and staff.

Tips

  • Only transfer ownership to someone you trust. The new owner has full control over the store and its data.
  • Double-check the new owner's details before confirming.
  • You can still access the store as a staff member after the transfer, unless the new owner removes you.
