How to Make an Order with a Unit

You can assign an order to a specific table, room, or seat. This helps your team know exactly where each order belongs.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Open the sidebar menu by clicking the hamburger icon.
  2. Click POS Unit from the main menu.
  3. Select the unit where the order will be served (e.g., Table 5, Room 2, Seat 8).
  4. Create a new order. Follow How to Use the POS Register for detailed steps.
  5. The unit is automatically assigned to the order you create.

The order is now linked to the selected unit, so everyone knows where it should go.

Tips

  • Double-check that you selected the correct unit before saving the order.
  • Use clear names or numbers for your units (e.g., "Table 3" or "Booth 1") to avoid mix-ups.
  • You can move an order to a different unit later if a customer changes spots.
  • Assigning orders to units helps you track which areas are busy and plan service better.
